PRO TIP: keep the torque consistently strong and drive him down quickly in a descending spiral tightly around you so that you do not have to take any steps to acquire him in the prone handcuffing position (just pivot on your inside foot); this strong, downward, spiralling action will also confound his ability to do a front roll out of your takedown technique.
